A statement accessory sure to elevate any office desk, this large Hermès paper clip holds its own in terms of both style and function. Drawing on the brand’s signature equestrian history, it has a timeless and dramatic appeal, and is also something you’ll find incredibly useful, for keeping a large album or portfolio open. With its iridescent patina, it makes a rather dramatic accessory.
Designed and crafted in France in the 1970s by Ravinet d’Enfert - the renowned Parisian silversmiths favoured by Hermès - it is a polished silver-plate paper clip, which can also double up as a paper weight or a book holder. Over time it has developed a beautiful iridescent effect, which has resulted in a darker colour with a hint of purple, gold and teal, adding to its overall vintage feel. If required, we are able to polish the piece to return it to its original silver, upon request.
Taking on a long, rectangular shape with a pleasingly curved silhouette, the paper clip is stamped with ‘Hermès Paris’ on the base and is decorated with an elegant cast horse head on the top, adding some flair and fanfare to an otherwise relatively functional object.
A talking-point desk accessory for any office set up, this unmistakably Hermès piece is sure to enhance and uplift your nine-to-five.
